NYU Alliance for
Public Interest Technology
At the forefront of global research and thought leadership, the New York University Alliance for Public Interest Technology (NYUA-PIT) consists of a dynamic group of interdisciplinary experts organized and supported by NYU’s Center for Faculty Advancement.
As an institution committed to advancing the field of Public Interest Technology (PIT) we support students, foster interdisciplinary research among faculty, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders in public, private, government, and community entities to put PIT principles into action. The Alliance for PIT is rooted in a community-centric philosophy, ensuring technology aligns with societal needs, maximizes access to opportunity, and minimizes the risk of technology harms.
